SciEn Conference Series: Engineering provides publication, indexing and archiving services for conference proceedings to the organizers around the world. It is a platform for fast and cost-effective publication. All published items will be assigned a digital object identifier (DOI) and citable.

SCS: Engineering aims to publish high-quality conference proceedings in the field of Applied Science and Engineering. The papers in the proceedings have to be peer-reviewed before acceptance. It is the responsibility of conference organizers to conduct the peer-review process.

Information for Conference Organizers

Conference organizers are required to maintain the quality of the papers accepted to be included in their proceedings in terms of originality, English language, literature review, appropriate methodology, etc. Additional responsibilities include -

  • Conducting the peer review (can be single or double-blind) and sign the statement of peer review
  • Ensuring the formatting of the papers
  • Take consents from the authors for publication in SCS:Engineering
  • Provide any other relevant documents deemed necessary

SciEn Conference Series: Engineering is open access and peer-reviewed collection of conference proceedings.

All articles published in SCS: Engineering are open access and immediately and permanently free for everyone to read, download, copy and distribute. Permitted reuse is defined by the following user licenses:

As an open access publication with no subscription charges, a fee is payable by the conference organizer to cover the costs associated with the publication process and preservation of data. This ensures the articles to be immediately and permanently free to access by everyone.

Archiving Policy

All papers published in SCS: Engineering are archived in PKP-PN for long-term preservation. Authors can also self-archive the published paper.

SCS: Engineering is a new open access publication launched in April 2021. Continuous efforts are in progress to get it abstracted and indexed in popular indexing databases like Scopus, Web of Science and DOAJ.

Review Policy

It is the responsibility of conference organizers to conduct the peer-review process. The organizers need to sign a statement of peer review before publication in SciEn Conference Series: Engineering.

All the submitted papers undergo a similarity check by Crossref Similarity Check powered by iThenticate.

Publishing Ethics

In order to build a network of knowledge, publication in a peer-reviewed publication plays an important role. So, it is very important for all (authors, reviewers, editors, or publishers) related to publication practices standard ethical behavior.

Withdrawal Policy

Once an article is published in a volume any withdrawal request will not be entertained. However, SciEn PG will have the right to withdraw any published article from a volume in special circumstances. Conference organizers can also make a request to withdraw articles from the published proceedings within three months from the date of publication.

Author Name or Sequence Change

It is the responsibility of the conference organizers to ensure the name and sequence of authors in a paper. Any request to change the name, affiliation and sequence of authors from the respective author will not be granted. Conference organizers may request such changes by submitting the consents from all relevant authors.
